Ravens move Modell Memorial to Jersey

The Baltimore Ravens have relocated their Art Modell memorial from a decal on the back of their helmets to a patch on the front of their jerseys.

Modell, the former owner of the Ravens died earlier this month of natural causes.  The Ravens honoured Art with a simple decal on the back of their helmet in week one.

The design of the patch is identical to that of the decal worn previously (seen above)

Looks a bit strange to those who do not know about Art Modell. Like the shirt is officially a work of art or something. Which it is not in my opinion, with these ugly stripes near the collar, which is already ugly because of the contrasting colour. Maybe AM would have been better as a badge.

I think everyone who know football, even a little, know who Art Modell is. Same thing last year when the Raiders had a decal on their helmet simply saying Al.
