Colorful Feet: Christmas-Themed Shoes in the NBA

There was an absolute glut of Christmas-themed shoes in the NBA yesterday. We had the aforementioned offerings from Kobe, Lebron and Durant. But that wasn’t the end of it all.

Russell Westbrook debuted the second colorway of the Air Jordan XX8 on court, featuring plenty of blue articulated print. The Jordan Brand shoe was originally unveiled on Dec. 4 by Westbrook, but the Christmas-day variety was the first time we’ve seen the white upper with the blue.

Designed by Nike’s Tinker Hatfield, this controversial look offered a bit more texture than the original all-black release.

Derrick Rose unveiled his “nightmare” colorway of his Adidas-made DRose 3 on Christmas.

Also getting in on the Christmas style was everyone from Rajon Rondo to Steve Nash to Blake Griffin.
