    close up it looks good and like the sandy hook/VT tribute I don't think it will translate well to TV.

    It appears that most of the college football teams wait until the bowl games to debut their radical alternates. Why? And the next question is why not wear the uniforms that got them to this point instead of wearing something nobody except the hard core fans of that team will recognize?

      They are retiring the fighting gobbler logo on the 31st along with the T resting in the V logo (the TV logo as it is often called). This was a last Hoorah.
