The NBA’s latest uniform experiment took place last night at Barclays Center in Brooklyn at the Miami Heat and Brooklyn Nets both had their players wear their nicknames in place of last names on the back of their jerseys.

Miami reportedly came up with the idea before the season and  approached the NBA seeking an opponent to go along with the plan, Brooklyn being the “it” team this season was naturally chosen.
