Finally somebody’s doing something other than Star Wars. Don’t get me wrong, I understand there’s a bunch of Star Wars fans out there… I’m just not one of them, it’s nice to see something else.
Cue up the Ray Parker, Jr., charge up your proton packs (whatever you do, Don’t. Cross. The streams.), and check out what the Toledo Mud Hens will be wearing on May 30th:
Ghostbusters!
Probably my favourite movie, not just growing up but still to this day. I have a giant Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man set up outside my garage every Hallowe’en where I stand by wearing a uniform similar to these Mud Hens jerseys handing out candy. The neighbours love it, the kids don’t entirely understand it.
I would’ve hoped for a little more out of the first Ghostbusters team uniform to hit the diamond, but I understand there’s *probably* licensing issues preventing them from using the classic Ghostbusters logo… still, let’s get that proton pack on the back of the jersey! The Bisons, afterall, were able to do a numberless jersey last year on their Star Wars day. The Ghostbusters bar has been set, rest of Minor League Baseball, let’s see what you can do.
