The Mahoning Valley Scrappers, short-season single-A affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, unveiled a new alternate logo today. The logo, which will be worn on caps on Sundays, features the letters MV for Mahoning Valley underlined by a chain link.
In an article on MiLB.com, Brandiose designer Jason Klein promises that the new logo is “just the beginning of even more exciting things to come for the 2015 season,” so we’ll keep an eye on future updates to the Scrappers’ bulldog-based identity.
