Tomorrow night, the Cincinnati Reds will pay tribute to the 25th anniversary of their 1990 World Series victory with a special throwback uniform.
The Reds will be wearing a white pullover jersey with Reds logo on the left chest and number on the right, part of a World Series reunion which will feature most of that 1990 team.

The 2015 uniforms are fairly close to the originals, of course there is that MLB logo on the back collar which instantly makes any 20th Century throwback inaccurate. However they did include the giant player name and white trimmed numbers on a white jersey. Compare:
There are two elements missing from the World Series specific versions of these jerseys, that would be the World Series patch on the sleeve and the US Flag patch on the chest (the 1990 World Series was played during the Gulf War):
Making this more of an honouring of the 1990 regular season team. Which is still fine by us.
The Reds will be wearing this uniform for the game tomorrow night (Friday, April 24, 2015) against the Chicago Cubs.
