The Pittsburgh Penguins today announced the schedule of games in which they will wear their immensely popular throwback-style alternate uniforms during the 2015-16 season.
The uniforms will be worn a dozen times with eleven of those games taking place at the CONSOL Energy Center in Pittsburgh, the Penguins will take their alternates on the road once for the New Year’s Eve game against the Detroit Red Wings at Joe Louis Arena.

Unfortunately with Washington dropping their white retro alternates this means we will no longer be seeing these two throwbacks matching up again this season.
