With a 3-0 lead over the Cubs in the National League Championship Series, the Mets advancing to the World Series might seem like a foregone conclusion. The Mets took that conclusion to the next logical step today, inadvertently (we assume) posting an ad for National League Champion hats and shirts before the series is actually clinched.
The mistake has been corrected now, but alert Twitter user @philprimato caught this screen grab while it was still live.
