NBA D-League expansion team, the Windy City Bulls, top level affiliate of the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, unveiled their new uniforms earlier today via an e-mailed press release.
Designed by Chicago Bulls Creative Services just as the logo was, the uniforms share the overall idea of the design with their NBA cousins. Red on the road, white at home, “BULLS” is arched across the home whites in the familiar Chicago Bulls style while the road reds features “WINDY CITY”.
Each uniform has three stripes up the sides (they are Adidas jerseys, afterall) and include the Bulls logo on one side of the shorts, the Windy City alternate logo (featuring a map of the State of Illinois) on the other.
Jerseys are sponsored by BMO Harris Bank but only display the corporate “BMO” logo giving them an identical jersey sponsor as fellow D-League team Raptors 905.
The Windy City Bulls “tip-off” their inaugural season on November 11th when they host another expansion team, the Long Island Nets at the Sears Centre in Chicago.
