More Gold! Predators Unveil New Look Road Unis

The Nashville Predators unveiled their new road uniforms late last night, the Predators road whites were the last big change that had yet-to-be-released for the upcoming NHL season and their transition to the Adidas ADIZERO jersey.

Unveiled by country music performers Tim McGraw and Faith Hill during a concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the most noticeable change to the jersey is the addition of a gold yoke to the shoulders.

More gold is the overall theme of the new look for the Predators, building off the success of wearing the gold helmets for all home games last season. In addition to the new gold shoulders, the collar has been switched from blue to gold, the two gold and blue stripes at the cuff and waist are now one large gold stripe with a thin blue line. As was the case with their new home jersey already unveiled back in June the piping has been removed resulting in a cleaner look overall.

Name and numbers remain blue, the guitar string feature from the back numbers has now been moved over to the arm numbers as well, a first for the upcoming season; this is also the case with the home gold jersey.

Reminder that there will be no regular alternate uniforms in the NHL this season, just a white and a dark for each team. The NHL and Adidas will bring back alternate uniforms for the 2018-19 season.
