Durham Bulls to wear Dustin unis on Stranger Things Night

The Durham Bulls, Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, are on a minor league promo journey, and they’ve got their paddles. The team will wear uniforms based on beloved Stranger Things character Dustin. Most notably, the team will sport Dustin’s trademark tri-tone cap, with just the hint of a Bulls logo in there.

The uniforms will include an unbuttoned button-down shirt opening to reveal a green Durham Bulls T-shirt, reminiscent of Dustin’s denim shirt and T-shirt combos. The jerseys also include Dustin’s signature backpack, with uniform numbers in a wood paneling font.

Per the team, “Throughout the evening the team plans on highlighting some of the show’s largest themes, including the Upside Down, waffles, Christmas lights and Demogorgons, while also paying tribute to some of the show’s fallen characters. Additionally, fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite character or wear their favorite 80’s garb.”

The jerseys, to be worn July 13, will be auctioned off for charity after the game.
