Under Armour was promised their logo on pinstripes at Yankee Stadium and MLB-be-darned… by golly they’re going to get it!
UA and Notre Dame today unveiled the uniforms the team will wear for their annual Shamrock Series game against the Syracuse Orange at Yankee Stadium on November 17th. Unlike most Shamrock Series uniforms, the design this year focuses on that of that baseball team that typically plays at the stadium rather than the Fighting Irish themselves.
Take a look:
Navy blue with pinstripes on each white sleeve, a very Yankee-esque scripted wordmark logo across the collar, and the helmet places the famous interlocked ND on a circle with more pinstripes (by this point they might as well have gone with the “ND” in the style of the Yankees “NY” cap logo).
While the video introducing the uniforms made it appear the pants were plain white, a little time spent playing with some settings in Photoshop showed that the pants are indeed pinstriped just like the sleeves:
Notre Dame posted a much better look at the full uniform, including pinstriped shoes! Here’s the pic they shared:
