The Philadelphia Eagles will kick-off their defence of the Super Bowl Championship tonight with a special uniform patch commemorating their victory.
Affixed to the front-left corner of the chest, the logo shows a monochromatic version of the Super Bowl LII logo with “CHAMPIONS” added below it.
While it may be the first Super Bowl victory for the Eagles, it isn’t the first time we’ve seen an NFL team celebrate their championship this way; just last year the New England Patriots did the same in honour of their win at Super Bowl LI against the Atlanta Falcons.
