The Round Rock Express, newly minted Triple-A affiliate of the Houston Astros, already unveiled new logos this offseason to reflect their new parent club, and now they’ve unveiled “fauxback” jerseys and hats that emulate one of the most distinctive looks from the Astros’ fashionable history. The team announced that for some games in 2019, they will wear Astros-themed rainbow jerseys and caps, which feature a retro-style logo developed by Brandiose.
Such Astros greats as Nolan Ryan, Cesar Cedeno, and Joe Niekro wore the “Tequila Sunrise” jerseys from 1975 to 1986. The Express will wear the “rainbow guts” uniforms for all Saturday home games.
