French National Teams Extend Nike Kit Deal Until 2034

France’s national soccer teams will continue to wear Nike kits after the extension of their contract until 2034.

The Fédération Française de Football (FFF) announced the contract extension on Tuesday, April 30, following a tender process that began on March 22. The FFF’s contract with Nike was originally set to expire in 2026.

The contract extension was unanimously approved by the FFF executive committee during a special meeting on April 30. It will cover all senior and youth men’s and women’s national teams.

“I am particularly proud and happy of Nike’s renewed confidence in the FFF. The renewal of our partnership and the agreement reached position the FFF among the very leading sports organizations in the world. When I was elected, I made a commitment to ensure the sustainability of the FFF, in all its dimensions: societal, diversity, development of high-level practice, women’s football and amateur football. This partnership with Nike, with whom we share a common vision and objectives, gives us the means to actively contribute, at least for the next decade!”

The FFF’s partnership with Nike dates back to 2011. Prior to that, Adidas had supplied the French national team kits from 1972 to 2010.

This isn’t the only high-profile national team contract to come up for renewal lately. In March, the Deutscher Fussball-Bund (DFB) announced that Nike would take over as the kit supplier for German national teams in 2027, ending a 77-year relationship with Adidas.

In response, Adidas is making an “aggressive push” to win high-profile club and national team contracts, including a reported deal with Liverpool FC of the English Premier League starting in 2025.
