Power up that Intellivison, pop in a Beta and get ready for the 2006 Fall Classic.
This seasons’ World Series logo was unveiled today, along with three alternates and a script logo, and the logo design instantly conjures up memories of the 1980s.
A red and blue rounded rectangle is flanked by the words ‘World’ and ‘Series’ in blue, a split oval with a grid is on the rectangle, as is the year and a rather large MLB logo.
The alternate logos all include the split red and blue globe but change the position of the event and year script.
The 102nd Major League Baseball Fall Classic will kick off October 21st, hopefully at the Rogers Centre in Toronto.
