The Ontario Hockey League’s newest team, the Mississauga Steelheads, unveiled their new logo today via their official website.
The Steelheads, who up until earlier this week were known as the Mississauga St. Michael’s Majors, recently renamed themselves due to the terms of sale from Eugene Melnyk to Landmark Sport Group, Inc.
The logo features a steelhead trout, a type of fish commonly found in Mississauga’s Credit River, in blue and silver above the team script. Naturally the team script features a maple leaf in it, you know, just because.
You can already find the new Mississauga Steelheads logo in the SportsLogos.Net database.
Uniforms and merchandise will be unveiled/available at a later date.
