I like the twins jerseys and grey billed cap and how they had chewy in the dugout and the mercury mets were really cool and the athletics robot elephant logo is really cool so maybe those teams should bring back the promotion.

I’m all for a bit of modernization but still side with the purist in me. Despite that, I find those abominations to be…..well, abominable. Can you see the likes of Cobb, Gehrig, Musial, Mantle and Rose cheerfully donning such togs back in their day? Although the uniform corniness began in the 60’s, MLB has become somewhat of a disgrace since Selig took over. Shame on him.

Nice idea. Bring it back retro science fiction style, with uniforms a la Flash Gordon, The Jetsons or The Thunderbirds. And, in the vein of the Mercury Mets, the Saturn Mariners, Pluto Pirates, Sun Diego Padres. NASA Astros! Mars Reds! Black Hole Yankees!
