I’m a Union fan and i have to say sometimes i look at the new 3rd unis and love the simplicity and then other times i look at them and they bore the crap out of me,but hey it’s an homage to the old Bethleham Steel unis(though some ppl say their jerseys were dark blue .Have to look it up when i get a minute) so i can’t really complain.and they’ll be gone in 2 or 3 years.Wish they had put a fading B for Bethleham behind the Union shield.It’ll make a nice just walking around fashion look with jeans or whatever if i can find a replica.What’s with the price of shirts?You would think it was the #1 sport in the US at those prices.The word Bimbo and that pastie over the right nipple and the O over the left areola may make females leery of buying a jersey.Or maybe that’s just where my mind goes anyways…Would love the Toronto jersey if only the leaf was featured.The other parts look like sweat stains.Neatly placed mind you but still

Toronto’s kits are pretty sweet. They had a dotted leaf on earlier kits; I think maybe ’09. This leaf is a better version though. The angled lines continuing throughout the shirt look like a combination of harlequin and abdominal muscles. As for Philly, I prefer their main uni’s to the plain black.

I really liked last season’s kit. I felt that the grey sleeves and red shirt were very unique and could be carried forward (Arsenal, Preston NE) as a firm look.

I supposed if you aren’t from Toronto, the shirt looks unique, but for me, the leaf represents the country, and not the city. I love Canada, but that is not Toronto. All the more absurd with two other Canadian sides in the league.

Lastly, if KC should tweak their colours. Their colour pallet is boring and should be a little more richer in their hues. And the checkers would look better on just about EVERY other colour combo in the league.

I’m going to miss the old strange MLS fonts. At first I thought the TFC primary was overkill, but the shapes forming the leaf are really interesting the more you look at it. I wish the colour change was more subtle but I guess thats the closest they can get with all the different shapes.

Re: The Toronto FC numbering – The entire league is switching to the letters and numbering that you see on the Philadelphia third kits. I imagine that, with a red shirt, TFC will be wearing white letters and numbers.
