It took me a few days to get around posting this, things have been crazy lately with the new baby and to be honest, I completely forgot about the end of the NBA Conference Finals.
But as I was locating all the phantom gear for this year something struck me as odd; while I had no trouble finding the Memphis Grizzlies’ merchandise, I couldn’t find a single item produced for the Indiana Pacers. I guess somebody knew the Pacers wouldn’t defeat the Heat? Conspiracy theorists assemble!
Not much in line of merchandise, a conference championship usually is sparse, but below is your Memphis Grizzlies 2013 Western Conference locker room championship cap, and t-shirt:
As for the Pacers, I was able to find two NBA Champions items – but these were merely salesman samples, produced at the beginning of the playoffs for each team:
UPDATE: Call off the calls of “conspiracy!” I’ve finally found the Indiana Pacers Eastern Conference Champions shirts and caps.
