I don’t know why the league produced merchandise for both Stanley Cup champions? I know that the phantom merchandise will be destroyed or sent to third world countries that don`t even know NHL or anyone who cares about the NHL. I have to say it`s a waste of materials to produce the eventual so-called phantom merchandise.

I am still heartbroken. It was a very close tight series. Either team, with a few breaks the other way, just might have swept the Series. As heartbroken as I am I feel even sorrier for the people that are reveling in a cities heartbreak. It is extremely sad that some people’s lives are so small they need the misery of others to feel good about themselves.

Some of the shirts are actually nice (Majestic and CCM), the hats are, let’s say, a bit gaudy. The stuff people wear when operating a carnival ride or driving a matte black pickup truck with tinted windows and a gun rack. Guys with a mean, bored expression and a very low IQ and tattoos with grammatical errors.

Here’s an idea: A list of the best (or worst) Stanley Cup Champs locker room hat/shirt designs. I do recall some pretty ugly swag being worn by teams skating with the Cup (particularly in the 90s)!
