While I don’t mind the nickname or even logo per say, the fact remains that a pelican is a pretty grungy dirty bird. Like a common seagull on steroids.

They should’ve added white bird poop stains just like a seaside pier full of them.

The white middle line and arcs should have been red, also to make the gold buckets come out a bit stronger. These white lines are too clean for my taste. I do not really understand the second secondary logo being placed on the court as well, as if they could not make up their minds. But all in all a nice court, I would love to practise my sky hook on this one,

The New Orleans Zephyrs (PCL) should swap names with the Pelicans, considering the baseball history surrounding the Pelicans nameplate.

Love the court and the fact that they used a little less blue than what the concepts had on here. Only problem I see is the gold in the paint kind of fights the rest of the tan court.

For those of you who are complaining about the Pelicans name, keep in mind that it’s Louisiana’s state bird and that it’s a more “local” name than the Hornets name is. Also, many of you don’t realize that pelicans are gangsta! Don’t believe me? Ask a certain pigeon.
