Because they won the World Series with the current all red motif, there’s no sense in making the same mistake most teams have made soon after winning it all. If it’s not broken, why bother fixing it? Although I would bring back the 1989-92 style as an alternate for Sundays or flashback Fridays. Those were classic.

They still look great!

They look like the Red Sox jerseys because they were from the same manufacturer of the time, hence the similar font and such.

As for the low-quality halo cap, is it a New Era one? New Era is usually on top of their game with the authentic caps.

Also, in 1962, they were called the Los Angeles Angels because they PLAYED IN LOS ANGELES. Anaheim is not Los Angeles.

Peter Bourjos was wearing red socks during in the 1962 throwback game. No idea if anyone else did, because they were all wearing ridiculous shoe-length pajama pants. Throwback uniforms don’t work in those pants. Just my two cents.

Rafterman, was the halo printed or stitched? If it was only printed I can fully imagine the poor quality of the hat.

I think everything is these days. But those were pretty cool caps though.

I got one when they wore them as part of the 50th Anniversary. They were made in China and the quality was pretty awful.

The Angels also on purpose opted not to put names on those jerseys anywhere; maybe they didn’t want to know who they were–lol! And that was before they started to seriously attract fans at Anaheim Stadium, as it was then called.

I would but one of them too. They never won the pennant or World Series with them and usually had mediocre teams, but both sets are classic.

As for the patches, they might be historically inaccurate, but the do make the jerseys a bit more interesting to purchase for the average fan, I guess. I would buy them, anyway, if I had the money because they do look nice.
