The NFL did the “appeal to the younger demographic” thing from 1996-2006. The vintage look is slowly filtering in these days.

If you want a league that has adopted edgier looks continuously over the years look at the NBA. Yuck.

Man, maybe I should watch the NHL… they seem to “get” the uniform thing. When they bring out “new”, we actually get more of a classic look. Now I just need the NFL to understand what looks good instead of trying to please the 17 year olds who just don’t get it. College football I’ve just given up on entirely. Nice job, Wild.

I like this one a lot. Good job done. When looking back at the previous away jersey, I am not as much of a fan of it. There are a lot of recent jerseys that are terrible (NYI’s black alternate, Florida’s navy blue,) but this did not go down the wrong path.

In reply to agege. The red can stay as an outline colour. But yes, their current red jerseys are a waste of time. Use a green version of this road jersey and keep the current script jersey as their alternate. Otherwise, use their current homes as their alternate but in green.

Really nice upgrade. Never been a fan of the green/red color combo (see: Bucks, Milwaukee) but the Wild really pull it off.
