It was so good when the giants lost the blue outlining around the numbers on the away jersey. When they went to this look back in the early 2000’s I thought, hey, they didn’t have outling back in the day…. then they rolled out these more accurate all red and white jerseys…. so classy looking to have no sign of the helmet color. Its like the new jersey generals having no gold from their logo on their unis, like UCLA having no light blue on their helmet, like the old chargers having no powder blue on the helmet… I just love that type of look…. the teams in the past for the most part had it right.

It’s not just you JR. The new Seahawks jersey are AWESOME. Also, I believe Max is correct about the small change to the helmet this year going to matte on the sides. Pete Carroll is great about uniforms too. He decides what to wear based on factors like weather, not just the uniform of the week (hot game – switch out blue pants for grey ones).

In reply to M. Quinn. Well, remember when the Golden State Warriors were wearing their blue and orange, but yet they're court design was blue and gold? During their 2007 playoff appearance, the fans wore yellow. Well, hint hint! Nudge nudge! Although I personally see the Rams somehow reverting back to their royal blue and yellow scheme. And they should!

The “Detroit” in the Lions’ endzone looks out of place and the Rams should’ve used blue and metallic gold in their endzone, not blue and white… unless they’re about to change their colors to blue and white.

In reply to Jed. Until the Bucs got rid of those creamsicle uniforms, they were considered a laughingstock of the league. The original logo was great. Should've kept that and used their current one as their alternate. The original uniforms probably would've looked better if pewter or black were added. The current colours make them look tough though.

Tampa Bay seriously needs to get rid of their current design and go back to the old-school Buccaneers design from the 70s and 80s. Awesome look versus what they have on now. What’s with the generic look of ST. LOUIS in the endzones at the Dome?

Love love love my 49ers new/old endzone wordmark design. Kinda curious on why you didn’t discuss how the Rams have some of the best uniform/color combos in the league, yet still insist on rolling out the blue on blue jersey and pant combos.
