In reply to Anairda. Don't forget, back in the 1980's, the Atlanta Hawks had the same style jerseys as the Sonics. # 10 is nice, but it looks like a Washington Wizards ( nee Bullets) and Golden State Warriors combination.

What a crap; # 1 it’s the Atlanta Hawks colors & the Cleveland Cavaliers design jersey from the 70`s, # 6 it’s a mix of Orlando Magic & Denver Nuggets, # 8 it’s the Seattle Supersonics, and # 9 its the Denver Nuggets from the 80’s; i think the one with the best design idea it’s # 10, the others design are absolutely crap. Poor work for the Dallas Mavericks organization. -____-

Im rather suprised #4 isnt getting much love. The blue version would be great. Im not really a fan of white jerseys. As has been said, the leading jerseys are knock offs of Denver and Seattle, so theyre not likely to be approved even if they win.
#5, I like the idea behind it, but I can understand why its the least popular, as its quite busy.
2, 6 and 7 are the worst, I cant imagine why anyone would like them. 6 is getting a lot of love, but god its bland, it has no character.

Wow, these are the finalist? We have had much better Mavs concepts on the boards here! I would vote for 6 simply because its the only one that doesn’t look like it was slapped together by a middle schooler and/or ripped off from another jersey.

#4 is really nice and a cleaned up version of their current ones. The Mavs have had more success with these including two championship appearances 1 win. Only thing about number 4, the numbers on the home jersey shouldn’t be white on white. Bad enough Sacramento and Miami do this. The text looks fine although just westernize it slightly. Use #6 as their alternates. Replace the silver with possibly a silver-green metallic.

#1: nice idea but do not put small team logos on shirts. These belong on the shorts. 2: I have never liked that M and there are already too many black uniforms/alternates in the NBA. 3: Cool and retro, but what about the shorts? adidas will not like these, since they are too old school compared to the other teams, but I like them. 4: This set will probably win it, even if it is not in the lead right now. Clean design, very adidas-like. 6:I do not like the bottom flares in white of the shirt and the star in Mavs logo. But it has a chance to win, as it already looks like a practice uniform. 5: argyle? come on, only UNC can pull that off (and even they would look better without it. This is basketball, not golf). 7: has a certain retro muscle car logo and striping quality to it, but not another black uniform please. 8:Sonics rip off/ tribute, adidas will like it, not too bad but still a rip off. 9: Clever Denver rip off, but too similar to the current alternate set. 10: really stands out, but the front number should be under the 3 stripes (adidas will like those stripes). Ans the shorts? My favourite, all in all, is number 3, followed by 10 and 7. But 4 or 8 will win.

I like #3 and #9 the most but if I would have to choose one, it would be #3 since it looks more retro and looks more like a Maverick themed jersey than #9. But #9 is also #9 is good since it’s like Denver’s alternate’s.

I like the #6 concept as well with the star inside the a. Perhaps the Mavs script jersey should be the alternate and the regular uniforms should say Dallas (road) Mavericks (home) with the star inside the a concept.

Instead of changing the uniforms completely, why don’t they just add green to their current uniforms? Although westernize the fonts slightly. As far as the third uniforms, they should be green with Dallas in silver with blue outline and the numbers in blue with silver outline. The home whites should say Mavericks, not Mavs. If they ‘re gonna go with the double blue and green theme, navy and silver-blue metallic.

Umm, all these uniforms look like crap. Maybe they should go back to the original Mavs. But if someone put a gun to my head and said “choose one”, I’d go with #3.

The blue uniforms with the star in the “A” in MAVS is the best. Don’t care for the ones that are similar to the old Sonics and Nuggets. People would just recognize those as hacks off of other teams old designs.

The green for #10 is too dark. It’s like the New York Jets green. Make it lighter and maybe it could be okay. Anyway, I like #6 and #9.
