The Oregon Ducks are at it again, but at least this time it’s for a good cause.
For tomorrow afternoon’s game against the Washington State Cougars, the Oregon Ducks football team will be dressed in their all-black jerseys, with their all black pants, but with one fairly obvious difference. Hot pink helmets… and shoes, gloves, and socks.
The special pink accessories will be auctioned off during and after the game, some items will be autographed by Oregon alumni. Proceeds will go to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
“Hopefully, together with Nike and the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, we can help create awareness and help raise money for the fight against women’s cancers. It is an honour to join coach Yow’s team in a fight that unites us all.” Oregon coach Mark Helfrich
