and that makes it all better right ?……….truth is, these countries you are talking about is poor due to overpopulation……….this stunt by these apparel companies is only to make them look like saints……….smfh

man, i allready know that………..still makes it lame, can´t you see how over the top it is to make something that never will be used, …….it costs money and labour to make this stuff………

The gear by the losing team gets shipped to third world countries to cloth people who don’t have much.

Immediately after a championship is won the players are celebrating with shirts/hats/etc. So what the leagues do is they make around 150 hats and shirts for each team, and when that team wins they immediately make thousands more that night so they can be sold the next day. The losing team’s gear is hidden by the league, and eventually donated to third world countries. It’s already made by the time the series ends so each team is prepared for it. STL’s was already made as well even should the Dodgers have won the series. It explains how those team players get their gear as fast as they do.

I can’t answer though what becomes of the would-be merchandise like the Dodgers gear here.
