The gear by the losing team gets shipped to third world countries to cloth people who don’t have much.

The other items are too gaudy for my austere taste in garments. But in a way they all okk like counterfeit items one can buy at a carnival or boardwalk (save the New Era caps with the WS logos).

@Alex Jsunkist is right. Immediately after a championship is won the players are celebrating with shirts/hats/etc. So what the leagues do is they make around 150 hats and shirts for each team, and when that team wins they immediately make thousands more that night so they can be sold the next day. The losing team’s gear is hidden by the league, and eventually donated to third world countries. For example here is a poor Indonesian boy wearing a Rays 2008 WS champs shirt. http://findingjustice.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/tampa-bay-lose.jpg.
If somehow a worker can smuggle any of that wrong champions gear out it is worth a LOT to collectors, because they’re so rare. A Patriots “19-0 Undefeated Season” t-shirt sold for $550. http://mentalfloss.com/sites/default/files/styles/article_640x430/public/patriots-19-0_5.jpg

It’s already made by the time the series ends so each team is prepared for it. STL’s was already made as well even should the Dodgers have won the series. It explains how those team players get their gear as fast as they do.

I can’t answer though what becomes of the would-be merchandise like the Dodgers gear here.

HanRam, Beastmode, Eithier…if all were 100 percent, this series could have gone seven.
