Major League Soccer announced this past weekend that “Jersey Week” is returning for the 2014 season. “Jersey Week” is a week-long event, débuting in 2013, in which nearly every team in the league will unveil a new uniform.
In 2014 we will see 17 of the 19 MLS clubs unveil a new uniform, we’ll see 10 new primaries, 6 new secondaries, and two thirds (Portland is the only team unveiling two jerseys). All the uniforms will be unveiled between Monday, March 3rd and Thursday, March 6th.
Earlier this offseason the two teams not participating in Jersey Week, San Jose and DC United, unveiled their new looks, which means all 19 teams will have at least one new jersey in 2014.
