The Milwaukee Bucks announced they will be altering their uniforms for the upcoming 2014-15 NBA season.
Most notably the wordmark across the front of the jersey is changing, previously the “B” and “S” in the “Bucks” logo were taller than the rest of the word, now each letter in the wordmark will be the same height.
The other two changes are being instituted across the league, the NBA logo has been removed from the front of the jersey and will now go on the back above the player name. The Bucks will also be one of a handful of teams fortunate enough to get the gold tab on their back collar – this symbolizes their one NBA championship back in 1971.
Here’s the Bucks’ press release on the new look:
For the first time since the introduction of the alternate Milwaukee red jersey in 2008-09, the Bucks have updated their uniforms to be worn during the 2014-15 campaign.
The home and away jersey now utilize a standard letter sizing for the BUCKS front word mark. In addition, the rear collar on all three jerseys will include a gold tab in recognition of the 1971 NBA Championship season.
