The New York Islanders today unveiled a logo celebrating their final season to be played at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum via their SnapChat account. The Islanders will be moving to Brooklyn where they will play out of the Barclay’s Center beginning with the 2015-16 season.
The logo features a rendering of the Uniondale, NY based Coliseum which the Islanders have called home since their first game in 1972. Above the Coliseum are four Stanley Cups celebrating the four consecutive titles which the Isles won from 1980-1983.
