With Veterans Day right around the corner, plenty of sports teams and leagues across the United States are doing their part to make sure that the occasion is marked with some sort of tribute to the troops and veterans who have served their country. The NBA’s no different, as they’ve kicked off their Hoops For Troops week, that will go from November 4th until Veterans Day on the 11th.
Of course, there’s also gear for the players to wear and for the league to sell you, with a proceed of it going towards the support of troops and their families. The gear was everywhere during last night’s NBA action, as you’ll see below.
One of the only players to rock the headband last night was Spencer Hawes. While most people on social media were shocked to see Hawes somehow get the headband around that mop of hair he’s got, this really shouldn’t be a shock to anybody who’s followed Hawes and his choices of on-court accessories.
So, is anybody reading this going to pick up any of this gear? How do you think it looks as far as patriotic tributes go?
