The Montreal Canadiens have shifted their Jean Beliveau tribute from their helmet to their uniform.
Starting with tonight’s game at Chicago, the Montreal Canadiens will wear a number 4 patch inside a black circle on the upper-right side of their jerseys in memory of their former captain. Beliveau died on Tuesday at the age of 83.
