New Seattle Mariners Uniform Coming Friday

The Seattle Mariners will unveil a new alternate uniform, to be worn every Sunday home game, live on their official website this Friday. According to a Tweet from the team, the club will unveil the new uniform at 10:30am Pacific Time (or 1:30pm Eastern).

Speculation is already going on as to what the new look will be, the majority of guesses on our Twitter feed seem to be that it’ll either be a cream uniform or a throwback to the 1980s.

The cream speculation stems from a leak in March 2013 when a merchandise manufacturer accidentally posted they were working with the Mariners on a new cream uniform (and a throwback to the blue/yellow colour scheme too). News about a cream uniform popped up again last spring when a Mariners radio broadcaster spilled the beans about the team considering wearing “cream for Sunday home games”.
