Rawlings and Major League Baseball unveiled the new design to appear on their official baseballs for the 2015 season. The design features the signature of new commissioner Rob Manfred, Manfred officially took over for outgoing commissioner Bud Selig yesterday.
Manfred becomes just the second MLB commissioner to have his signature appear on an in-game baseball joining Selig. Prior to the 2000 season Rawlings produced baseballs for each league which bore the signature of the respective league presidents.
