They were number one in the Major Leagues last season, now they seek to be number one somewhere else… most uniforms.
The San Francisco Giants today confirmed that they will be adding a *fifth* uniform to their regular rotation in 2015, another alternate, which they will unveil on Friday.
The obviously-it-will-be black uniform will go alongside their existing cream homes, road greys, road grey alternate, and orange home alternate. Five different uniforms slides them into a multi-team tie for 2nd most in the league, the Milwaukee Brewers hold the top spot in 2015 with *six* (six?!) different regular jerseys.
We can confirm that it won’t be the black uniform which appeared on the Giants online shop back in December, while the team completely ignored our requests for comments on the matter they did change the wording on those products from “alternate” to “fashion” shortly after we contacted them. That jersey was basically a clone of their old black alternate with the black-on-black arched “GIANTS” wordmark across the front.
