The Oklahoma City Thunder have unveiled a new alternate uniform which will be worn four times during the remaining two months of the 2014-15 NBA season.
White with sleeves and a blue collar, the new look places the Thunder’s “OKC” logo on the chest with the player number below in blue. Shorts are white with two arcs, one orange and one blue.
“We’re excited to tell the story of our team, our fans and our hometown with this new alternate uniform. We believe the uniform embodies the spirit of this city, with simple and forward-looking design elements that showcase the three letters that resonate in our arena and have come to represent our team and our community: OKC.” – Brian Byrnes, Thunder Sr Vice President of Marketing
Player names will be placed below the number on the back of the jersey, those back numbers will be blue/white/orange.
Oklahoma City will wear the uniforms on March 8th, 15th, 22nd, and April 5th — all Sunday home games.
The uniform is part of the “Pride” series of jerseys the league and Adidas have been rolling out throughout the season, the Phoenix Suns recently unveiled theirs just this past week.
