For the first time since 1992, Manchester United will take to pitches in England and Europe wearing adidas-branded kits in 2015-16. Of course, when a club as big as Manchester United is making a jump from Nike to adidas, then you’re bound to see a bunch of clearly-fake shirts pop up on the internet in order to fool people into thinking that it’s the real deal.
However, we might actually have the real deal on our hands here, as footyheadlines.com has obtained photos of what appears to be Manchester United’s away kit for the 2015-16 campaign.
Normally, it’s pretty easy to tell a real leak from a fake, and this is no exception to the rule. While some leaks that are floating on the internet are low-quality images that look like the team’s crest was just slapped on a random training shirt, this one appears to be the real deal with all the subtle bells and whistles that you can expect to see on a shirt like this.
If it’s real, then this actually wouldn’t be a bad choice for adidas and Man U. Pair this with their traditional black shorts and you’ve got yourself a pretty solid away look, in my opinion. But what’s your opinion? Would this be a nice look for Man U? Are you still sad that they’ve left Nike behind in exchange for the deep pockets of adidas?
