Last month, we got a look at what was more-than-likely a legit Manchester United 2015-16 away shirt. Now, we’ve probably got a look at what their entire set will look like, as our reliable friends at footyheadlines.com and 101goals.com has gotten a hold of some images that are probably going to end up being what the team wears in its first season since the early ’90s as an adidas team.
Again, if this is legit (and all signs (Well, other than the obligatory adidas stripes not extending from the collar to the sleeves) point towards this being legit), then it’s actually a solid look for Manchester United’s first adidas look in decades. The subliminal striping is a nice touch, and shouldn’t take away from the classic look that Manchester United has had for most of the club’s existence.
Now as usual, things get a bit more adventurous for the 3rd/European shirt, which is black with red accents. It’ll be interesting to see which direction they go with the shorts, but the shirt is already interesting enough, so there’s that.
Speaking of interesting, we also got a look at the home and third shirts for one of Man U’s biggest rivals: Arsenal. The home shirt provides no shocks: Red shirt with white sleeves (and red piping) and gold accents.
The 3rd/European shirt is a typical Puma 3rd shirt: Funky to the max.
Yeah, what’s up with those random blocks of color on the shirt? Weird. If this is legit (which is probably is), it probably won’t sell much. Then agai, stranger things have happened so who knows?
What do you guys think? Will two of the biggest clubs in England be looking good for 2015-16?
