Today, the Philadelphia 76ers announced an official date for the unveiling of their new uniforms. That day will be June 18th, and we’ll finally get to see what the uniforms look like alongside their new set of logos.
However, the Sixers also decided to give us a few teasers. First, they gave us a tiny peek at the home uniform via snapchat:
Then, we got another teaser thanks to a video posted on their social media accounts:
The small peeks that we’ve gotten here all seem to line up with the big peek that Nerlens Noel gave us on Lottery Night:
So, it appears that both the home and road jerseys will have “PHILA” across the chest. No word on whether or not there’s an alternate and if there is, there’s no word on whether or not it’ll follow suit for the two road jerseys.
But for now, it’s clear that the Sixers are indeed going for a look that blends some of their previous looks together for a modern-yet-traditional look. What do you guys think? Are the Sixers going to have some solid uniforms, or should they have stayed with their current set?
