After being called out for having “the worst logo in the ECHL” on Twitter, the Wichita Thunder responded by saying a new logo is on the way.
Wichita has used their current logo, rated a 5.1 out of 10 currently by the users of SportsLogos.Net, since 1997 when they were still playing in the Central Hockey League.
The Tweet suggests the Thunder will wear a special 25th anniversary logo “next year”, the team was founded in 1992/93 so 2016/17 would be their 25th season, “and a brand new one after that” which must mean 2017/18.
