The San Diego Gulls have just unveiled their uniforms for their inaugural season in the American Hockey League as an affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. The jerseys match the leak we saw from the NHL16 video game last month.
They appear to be a combination of the uniform templates used by the Anaheim Ducks and Calgary Flames. Colours are based on those of the Ducks but with a splash of San Diego included with the use of baby blue.
On one shoulder is the logo of their parent club in Anaheim while the other, a stylized “SD”, is a nice throwback to the “OC” patch originally worn on the Ducks’ one-game-only Stadium Series jersey from 2014.
