San Diego State extends their Aztec Calendar design to their basketball uniforms

Back when San Diego State unveiled their new football uniforms which included quite possibly the coolest helmet in college football today, I was enamored. The use of the Aztec Calendar was a stroke of genius, and the Aztecs immediately became one of the best-looking teams in college football, in my opinion.

Now, if you liked that design then the good news is that the Aztecs and Nike have extended the design to their basketball uniforms.

Now, the front of the uniform is simple enough. There’s really nothing fancy there. It’s the back which is where this uniform shines.

There it is! Granted, we’ve seen multiple Nike schools go with a sublimated design on the back of their jerseys, but let’s be honest here: The Aztecs have jumped to the top of the list when it comes to cool factor. Seriously, you guys: I can’t get enough of that.
