During our 2015-16 NBA Logo/Uniform Preview, we shared with you the fact that the Golden State Warriors would be wearing their famous throwback uniforms from the 1966-67 season that put “The City” on the forefront.
Now, the team has officially confirmed the news and announced that they’ll be wearing the throwbacks on eight occasions during the 2015-16 season.
This is always a welcome sight. The Warriors’ current uniforms are inspired by these iconic uniforms, and there’s nothing like seeing the original version in action. It’s been a while since the Warriors brought these back, so it’s definitely nice to see that these will be coming back a few times this season.
