The Carolina Panthers improved to 11-0 on the 2015 season during their victory over the Dallas Cowboys on (U.S.) Thanksgiving Thursday night. It was also installment three of four of the NFL’s toe-dip into the waters that are league-mandated “just-because” specialty uniforms.
Following the Bills-Jets red-green colourblind’s nightmare and the Titans-Jaguars looking more like a baby boy’s diaper accident; the Cowboys and Panthers seemed a lot more tame. While the Panthers powder blues felt a lot like Tennessee’s did the week prior, Dallas went all-white… and I mean, I suppose white is technically a colour, but really defeats the purpose of the colour v. colour matchups we were promised in this series. Still, the all-white was a sight for the sore eyes of the Thursday night football fan.
Personally I thought it was great to see the Cowboys wear pants which match any other part of their uniform. Quite the bold concept, I know.

There’s still one more Color Rush game scheduled this season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will take on the St Louis Rams in a game featuring red and “yellow-gold” uniforms on December 17th. The NFL has reportedly said they would be bringing this promotion back in 2016.
