Just a couple of days after we got a look at what might be Chelsea’s new set of shirts for the 2016-17 season, we’ve got another high profile leak on our hands. This time, it appears as if FC Barcelona is the latest club to fall victim to a way-too-early kit leak, as we may have gotten a look at Barca’s away kit for the 2016-17 campaign.
Again, just as I figured that the Chelsea design was legit, I’d have to say that this stands a very good chance of being real as well. Barcelona have always been known to go with bold colors for their away kit. I mean, look no further than their 2014 away kit, which was basically the Catalan flag on a shirt.
The point is that Barcelona likes to be bold with their away shirt, and releasing a purple shirt with pink numbers and lettering would be pretty bold, if you ask me. Maybe not quite as bold as their “Tequila Sunrise” away kits from a few years ago, but it’ll still be a unique look for the Blaugrana.
So, do you all think that this is legit and that we’ll be seeing Barcelona wear this kit for select matches next season? We’ve got a while to go until next season starts, so you’ve got plenty of time to think about this and decide whether you like this or not.
