The National Hockey League has announced the top ten selling player jerseys during 2015 and surprise, surprise the Chicago Blackhawks tandem of Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane once again take the top two spots. I’m sure yet another Stanley Cup ring for the pair didn’t hurt their cause.
Rankings are based on total jersey sales per player, not specific jersey design, throughout the 2015 calendar year, and based only on transactions via the NHL’s official online shop, which is why you’ll see so few Canadian teams on the list. (click image for larger version)
Behind Toews and Kane we see familiar top-ranked players Henrik Lundqvist, Alex Ovechkin, and Sidney Crosby (who we haven’t seen ranked this low before); Patrice Bergeron, Zach Parise, Carey Price, Ryan McDonagh, and Edmonton’s injured super rookie Connor McDavid round out the top ten.
