The Los Angeles Rams unveiled their new team logo today at a news conference at The Forum in Inglewood, California.
While the details were very scarce at this point, it apparently answers at least one question — the Rams will not be returning to their old colour scheme this fall.
At this point we’re going to presume the new logo is a wordmark or alternate logo, the logo featuring the rams head which the team had been using for the past 15 years in St. Louis is still displayed on the official team website and Twitter account.
When the Rams moved from Los Angeles to St. Louis in 1995 they changed their primary a wordmark-style logo, so, it’s possible this is actually the new primary as well. Seriously, details are lacking, all we’ve got is this image, this post will be updated with additional details as they come in.
