It’s the thirtieth anniversary of the unforgettable New York Mets World Series championship team of 1986, and to help celebrate that big round number the club is wearing throwback uniforms for a series of games this season.
Complete with a pullover style top, racing stripes down the sides, and the original patch the team wore on the sleeves that season, the uniforms are a welcome visual reminder of the last Mets team to fly the pennant high over Queens.

If you missed the throwback threads don’t fret, the team will wear them for most of their Sunday home games throughout the 2016 season.
